School Stuff

I need to hurry up and get my taxes done because in order to get the Michigan grant for college I have to have all of my information in by the middle of March. Last year I missed out on this extra money, and if you are a college student you know that every little bit helps! I only have about another year and a half left of school, and every dollar that I can save before I have to pay off these loans will be wonderful. I am just waiting for my tax papers to come in the mail so that I can get on the ball!

Going to college gets more and more expensive as each year passes. I have started my yearly search for scholarships, and my search has lead me to Scholarships.com. This site is awesome because users can have direct access to long lists of grants and scholarship opportunities, but the really awesome thing is Scholarships.com is a free service. I have ran into a lot of scholarship sites that want people to pay to view their lists, and that seems wrong to me. Finding scholarships is not as hard as it used to be with help from Scholarships.com. I can really appreciate the fact that there is a site out there that actually cares about college students finding grants and scholarships. Paying for college can be quite a task, make the task a bit easier by finding grants or scholarships from Scholarships.com!
Beer Personality

These look like they would be really fun to play with at a bar. When someone is not looking at their beer just slip on a personality band that best describes that person, and then watch them look for who could have possibly done it. Cheap fun while at the bar! Awesome Toothpick Holder

The coolest toothpick holder ever in my opinion. Amazon was selling it together with that awesome knife set for a little cheaper price. I think this would be an awesome conversation piece at the dinner table for sure. They should come out with a whole dinnerware set to fit this motif like bone shaped plates and things like that.

I just watched the broken lizard version of beerfest, it is a pretty funny movie. Nothing will probably ever beat Super Troopers as far as that goes though, that movie is so quoteable. How many times have you heard the word snozzberry now? I just love Super Troopers so whenever I see movies with these guys in them I automatically call them by their Super Trooper names. I think it is about time for them to come out with a new movie though, it has been awhile!

Mojito

The word Mojito sounds so cool, but after reading what is in it I think it actually might be kind of gross. The drink itself is really pretty though, I may make one someday just so I can say that I did. It just always reminds me of the episode of American Dad where the alien kept wanting a mojito. Anyways, here it is:
Mojito
60 ml white rhum
1-2 tbsp syrup
1/2 lime
a handful of fresh mint sprigs
club soda
Muddle the mint leaves with limejuice and syrup in a rocks glass.
Add white rhum and crushed ice.
Add a splash of club soda on the top.
