Poker Tables

I have been thinking heavily about getting one of those fancy Poker Tables to put in my spare bedroom and just turning it into a bar. This would be a lot better for me than when I had the bar out in the garage, because it will be useable during any month! I would get one of those Texas Hold’em tables to put in there along with matching game chairs. I could then move my slot machines in the house and get a small Tiki bar to put in there. Just thinking about it gets me pretty excited! Eventually I would like to have a house with a huge basement so I could turn it into a real bar, but for now this will have to do.
I started shopping for the tables and chairs and found a great site at www.BuyPokerTablesOnline.com, easy enough to remember, right? Anyways, the prices were pretty good and I really liked the different tables that they are offering. If you have big dreams like I do for an awesome in home bar, this is a great place to start your shopping for supplies to make it really fun. After I get everything set up, that means I will have to start having an official poker night at my house!

I cannot see spending so much on something that I just think is cool, but this has to be THE coolest knife set that I have ever seen. Even though it is on sale for like 70 bucks, it is still too much for me to spend on something like this. I put it on my Amazon wish list, but I do not think anyone ever buys anything off of there. Here is a picture of the greatness though so you know what I am talking about!

YawpBox.com is the next generation in user generated video entertainment. I had a lot of fun cruising around the site and the different people’s videos that they had submitted.
There is a television section of the site and users of the site have a special opportunity to create content that will actually be used on a television show. Wouldn’t it be cool if they used one of the ideas you have that you always thought would be great on TV?
There are so many different user created videos, and it is funny to see how regular people act in front of a camera. YawpBox.com gives average people the chance for a lot of people to see their works.
There are so many great videos that I saw while browsing YawpBox.com that I cannot possibly pick my favorite one because there are so many different concepts and people behind them that it is just too hard to pick one. I suggest you visit the site for yourself to see all of the great videos that people have made.
There is another great part about the site which involves the Lex & Terry challenge they give users ‘homework’ which directs the audience to create specific content which makes for good videos. Each person sees topics differently and it is apparent when you watch the videos on the Lex & Terry challenge section of the site.

Fun Stuff

So I accidentally hit the back button when I was taking my algebra test last night and it locked me out like I was trying to go back to change the answers or something. It made me really sad because it felt like i was actually doing really good up to that point. I called my instructor on the phone because he is one of the nice ones that makes their number available, and he seemed like a really nice guy so he is going to unlock the test for me when he gets home. Thank god!

Sour Apple Martini Recipe
Ingredients:
3 oz .Lemon Lime soda
3 oz. Apple Juice
1 oz. Dekuyper Sour Apple Pucker Schnapps®
1 oz. Absolut Vodka®
Directions: In a tall glass with ice, add the two alcohols and then the apple juice and soda.Stir and enjoy!

I fell totally in love with these martini glasses when I was e-window shopping this morning. I think I may actually start a collection of fancy martini glasses just to keep around the house in like a pretty display cabinet. The site was MartiniArt.com and they have a ton of different things that are good for your home martini collection.

I was looking for a pink drink to serve at the Valentine’s day party that I decided to host. I found a nifty looking one called Babar, so I figured I would share it with you fine folks in case you are looking for Valentine’s day looking drinks as well. There is only about a month left until V-day so start shopping now (that was a note for the guys) so that you can get your love a thoughtful gift.
Babar
1 oz vodka
1/3 oz Passo“
1 oz guanabana juice
2/3 oz cranberry juice
Build in a highball glass nearly filled with ice.
Fill up with Sprite or 7up.

There have been a few times that I was running so late to an event that I actually had to go without washing my hair because of the hurry that I was in. I did not know products like dry spray on shampoo even existed, that would have been nice to know! I found some of the spray powder shampoo on www.SalonGrafix.com and I am going to order a bottle for such emergency situations as the one I described above. Another thing spray powder shampoo could be good for is the camping trip that I take every year, the lake just does not do my hair any justice, it usually feels more dirty if I try to wash it in the lake than when I started.
Dry Shampoo is an awesome invention that I guess has been around for a long time I just never knew it existed, and ordering it from a salon specialty site (www.SalonGrafix.com) I trust it to work well.
SalonGrafix.com has really great products at great prices and the site is very easy for anyone to use. I would recommend buying the dry shampoo for friends and family because you know that everyone has probably had at least a couple times in their lives when they just could not get to wash their hair!
