Studying the experimentally induced intoxicated behavior of ants in 1888, naturalist John Lubbock noticed that the insects that had too much to drink were picked up by nest mates and carried home. Conversely, drunken strangers were summarily tossed in a ditch.
Can you believe it was probably someone’s job to get ants drunk and study them? I know people who do that for free! Ants are much like humans in this respect, you would carry your friends home, but a stranger? Forget it!
Storing Your Beer

Beer Storage:
Unlike wines, most beers should be stored upright to minimize oxidation and metal or plastic contamination from the cap. High-alcohol ales, however, which continue to ferment in their corked bottles, should be stored on their sides. This is good if you are planning on micro brewing, you want to make sure that if you are creating ale you will store your ale on the side instead of upright. I think about Drew Carey’s Buzz Beer company, it actually seemed like a good idea. I like mixing my stimulants with my depressants (just kidding!). Really though, if I had a better set up here at my house I would try to micro brew my own beer which would only be sold locally because it would be something to do with Michigan or something along those lines.
Sex on the Beach Drink Recipe

Ingreds:
1 Oz. Vodka
3/4 Oz. Peach Schnapps
Cranberry Juice
Grapefruit Juice
Sex on the Beach Directions (haha)
Add vodka and peach schnapps to a highball glass. Fill with equal measures of cranberry juice and grapefruit juice, and stir, don’t forget to enjoy!
Such a great treat to enjoy on an upcoming warm summer day underneath a shady umbrella!

Orange Creamezcal

I am going to start posting recipes that are great for summer. Summer is just around the bend and it is always nice to have cold drink recipes to enjoy at your backyard events!
Orange Creamezcal4 small scoops vanilla ice cream, about 2/3 cup
1 ounce mezcal
6 ounces orange soda, chilledDrop the ice cream scoop into a chilled soda glass. Pour the mescal over the ice cream, and then the orange soda. Serve.

I am getting so angry that one teacher is probably going to ruin my GPA. I guess I do not understand exactly how she wants us to cite our sources, and she said if we do not do it correctly it is like plagiarism. The thing is this is a business class and I have done all of the research correctly and provided the correct answers but since I cite things in the wrong places or in the wrong form the rest of my hard work does not matter. I am getting so angry!

Ben & Jerrys

I am a huge fan of cinnamon flavored stuff. I like everything from cinnamon bears to cinnamon toast. I got this ice cream last night that is from Ben and Jerry’s and it is called Cinnamon Buns. It is caramel ice cream with cinnamon bun dough and cinnamon streusel swirl. This is like the best ice cream that I have had in a long time, because it is perfectly swirled with the cinnamon, and it is so good. I had to keep putting it away so that I would not eat the whole thing because it was just that good!
