Movie Extras

I have always thought that it would be so awesome to even be an extra in a movie. I know that when they were filming a movie here last year I was kicking myself in the pants for not finding out if there were any extra parts that could be filled by local people. I found out that there is a service that finds extras for movies called Talent6 and you can see their website at http://talent6.com.

I always thought that being an extra in a movie would just be awesome, I had no idea that you could actually get paid between $100 and $300 per day depending on what project they are working on. I figured you would just get your name in the credits, so money would be a total bonus!

If you are between the ages of 18 and 85 you have a chance at being an extra in a movie. Steak N Potatoes

I woke up today thinking about what I was going to make for dinner. I decided to go the steak and potatoes route, but I was unsure if you could cook a steak in the oven. I went to Yahoo Answers to find good answers to this question and people said that if you cook a steak in an oven they will turn out dry and gross. I guess that is a good enough answer for me because I do not want dry steaks.

I heated the oven up to 350 degrees and washed up a few potatoes and wrapped them in foil. First I poked a bunch of holes in the potatoes and then sprayed the Parkay spray butter that I love so much on them. When they are almost done I will throw my steaks in a pan.

I hope that the dinner turns out really well, I do not cook that much but when I do I want it to be something really good.

School Grind

It has been back to school for me for awhile now and I have to say it is actually kind of nice to be back. I felt like I was just wasting time towards graduation this summer, so it is good to be back and earning credits again.

I am taking small business management and communication in the workplace this semester. So far I am really enjoying both of my classes and my instructors are really nice and helpful. I am already getting pretty good grades in both of them so it is even better!

I have to study a lot more than I am used to, I want to make sure that I am getting the best grades possible and learning the most that I can. School is on my dime and I want to get the most out of it.
