World Expo of Beer

We went to the World Expo of Beer this weekend I had a really great time! There were so many people in there though that it was hard to get to the different vendors to check the stuff out. We walked in and got a $5.00 souvenir glass for each of us and 10 tickets for each of us. The tickets were a dollar each, and you would turn in a ticket to get your cup filled (which was only 4 oz). I had been wanting to try Bud Light Lime for awhile so I gave that a shot, it was pretty good. The highlight of my beer experience was the Woodchuck Cider company. I tried the various kinds of cider that they had, and they were all awesome but my very favorite kind was the amber brew of cider. I got pretty lit up and just walked around enjoying the company of my friends and the atmosphere. It was really cramped, but I did not see any bad things happening so it was all good!
Anyways heres props to the Woodchuck Cider people, they were really nice and they had good drinks!
Rum and Pepsi

My friend was talking about opening up a bar and we both like Pepsi better than Coke, but she says no one ever orders a rum and Pepsi. I told her that is true but often times if a place has Coke and I ask for a Pepsi they just bring me Coke. I figure that people would not cancel their drink order based on a technicality like that and she says that they will. I want to know what you guys think? If you are a rum and Coke drinker would you drink a rum and Pepsi or would you change your order and never go back to that bar again?

This site gets so much spam that it is impossible to filter through it to get to any real comments people may post. Every time I come on here there is about 300 spam comments to filter out, and it gets so annoying! I finished my last article and came back to write a new one and there was already a spam comment sitting there waiting for me to zap it. I am getting about 1 spam a minute and that is horrible! I really do not understand why they bother, it is not like I ever approve comments about ‘viagra’.

Holy Cold Batman

Yesterday it got quite warm in the house, so we opened the windows and shut off the heat for a little while. It got cold pretty fast, so I shut the windows but forgot to turn the heat back on, and when I woke up this morning it was like an igloo in here. I can barely type yet because my fingers are like little ice cubes. Anyways, I thought that would be a fun story to share with you all. This sucks!

I do love drinks that look like something stars and rich people would drink. Brightly colored drinks are awesome. I am going to post a recipe on here that looks really cool, like maybe old school ecto cooler or something.
Absolut Equestrienne
1 oz Absolut Citron (or other lemon flavoured vodka)
1 oz Pisang Ambon
2 dashes lime juice
dry apple cider to fill with

Of course with the weather getting increasingly colder, I think about the different hot drinks that are out there. I mean sure you can just add Baileys to your coffee but there are a lot more hot drink recipes out there! Anyways, this drink looked interesting to say the least.
Artic Warmer
1 shot vodka
1/2 shot CrËme de Menthe (mint liqueur)
1/2 shot orange juice
hot water
Build in a coffee glass or wine glass.

I lied about not giving out candy this year. At the last minute I bought a few bags of candy, and I will only be passing it out from 5:00-6:00 because that is usually when the little kids are out. I want to see the little kids and their costumes so I’ll give out candy, but that is it only an hour! My brother is bringing by his two girls, and I made them some AWESOME Halloween bags, with stickers and one of those gigantic lollipops.

The Halloween party is finally tomorrow, but I still do not have an eye patch yet, and I do not know if I want to get a hat or not. The bad thing is, I have to go to a Halloween store, I bet they will be packed tonight, but even worse tomorrow! I may even get a parrot to sit on my shoulder, because it will be funny. The other thing I can not figure out is whether or not I should wear tights or something to that effect because I am not buying a pair of expensive boots for one night!

It is day 3 of having my new computer, and I totally love it. Everything is blazing fast, and just awesome! I can see all of the 3D graphics on World of Warcraft, and even writing my blogs is faster because I can bring up and put down windows really fast, where it used to lag. I love this computer so much! The bad thing is that in my math class, I went to take a test, and there was nowhere to type my answers, from what the help desk says, the college blackboard program does not like Windows Vista, I am paying a lot of money to go to this school, so they really should have everything updated.
