One More Week

I only have one week left of school, and I am super stoked. I need a break really bad because I have been neglecting my house. I have the entire summer off, it will feel weird not having anything that has to be done other than work! I already signed up for my fall classes, but they do not start until September. I am just happy that I am going to have a bunch of time to myself, and maybe I’ll actually be able to get back to blogging ![]()
3 More Weeks!

I only have 3 more weeks until my summer break from school. I can’t wait because I have been slacking on so many other things because I have been so busy. I only have a year left to go and then I graduate, which I am pretty stoked about. When I started school I was worried that I wouldn’t follow through, but it is getting closer to the end now! I am just happy because the weather is going to be awesome, and good times are ahead.
Fall 2008

I signed up for my fall 2008 classes last night. I decided that I am going to take most of my remaining math classes on campus because it is too hard of a task to do online. I signed up for small business management, marketing seminar, and writing for business. These should be great subjects for me to work on. I should be able to graduate some time next year, which is pretty awesome. I’m not sure what I am going to do after that though, I am going to be in so much debt from these loans!
7 Weeks and Counting

I only have 7 more weeks of school until I get the entire summer off. I cannot wait because I have a lot of things that need to be done since I have slacked so much while going to school. I need to get my house back up to par and spend some time with family that I have not seen in awhile. I also want to go on a trip somewhere nice. I can’t wait for this school year to be over.
Career Week

This week in school we had to explore in depth what kind of career we want out of our degrees. I came upon the sad realization that my degree is going to be pretty worthless, so I am going to have to go to school for longer than I had planned on. Any job that I wanted to get with my degree required at least a bachelor’s degree and usually required a master’s degree. I am a bit confused on what to do now. I guess I will just have to see what happens.
HowStuffWorks

I just did an assignment for my business class and I was asked what kind of sites do I use for school purposes. I just wanted to point out that How Stuff Works (.com) is an awesome site to get information from, not only for school but just for general knowledge. This is why the Internet is so awesome, everything that you want to know (or almost anything anyways) can be found with the clicks of a few buttons. I really like that site and in case you have never heard of it I wanted to share!

I am so glad that they let you apply for your student aid online now because it is so much easier than filling out the paperwork. I just got done applying for next year, and it was even more easy than before because they let me pre-fill in information from last year, so it already had everything but my income questions already filled out. Just make sure to have your forms in as soon as possible so that you can get all of the benefits that are available to you. I should have had mine done earlier, but my tax return was taking forever to fill out.
Evil Teacher

I am getting so angry that one teacher is probably going to ruin my GPA. I guess I do not understand exactly how she wants us to cite our sources, and she said if we do not do it correctly it is like plagiarism. The thing is this is a business class and I have done all of the research correctly and provided the correct answers but since I cite things in the wrong places or in the wrong form the rest of my hard work does not matter. I am getting so angry!

I Need a Break

After taking the algebra class last term and taking these two classes this term I am starting to feel a bit burnt out. Some of my teachers ask for the dumbest stuff that they can think of just to make sure that we are doing some kind of busy work. I just get tired of talking about useless stuff to get participation credit. I have not felt like doing much of anything lately though because of being sick, so maybe that is just giving me a negative attitude.
