How to Construct a Beer Bong
How to Construct a Beer Bong
Most
college students seem to settle for the bland beer bong you can
purchase in any souvenir shop along the boardwalk. This article will
show you why you shouldn’t settle and teach you that bigger is better.
Steps
- Head to your local Home Depot, Lowe’s, etc.
- Once inside, you’ll need to choose the size and type of tubing
you’d like to use. This could be as simple as a small, clear tube or
you could choose a color. In terms of size, I recommend the following
tip: Get the tubing with the largest diameter that will fit in your
mouth. - Have the assistant cut you two pieces of the tube (you’ll
find out why soon enough), one about 1 foot in length and the other a
solid 4 or 5 feet. - Now you need to pick up your beer bong’s crown, the funnel. Any basic funnel will do, but again, bigger is better.
- The last pieces of equipment you need to pick up are the
clamps and valve. You need to make sure that both pieces will fit the
size tubing you’ve chosen. - Ok, now it’s time to build. Place one end of the valve into
the small piece of tubing and the other into the larger piece. The
valve allows you to pour the beer into the bong and hold it upright,
allowing the air to escape without spilling any liquid. - Take your clamps and fasten each end of the valve tightly into the tubing.
- Pick up a case from your local beer store and enjoy.
Tips
- Pre-manufactured beer bongs are available online for about equal to if not less than the cost of building your own
- If you decide to goto a local hardware store (Ace, Aco, True
Value, etc), look for a teenager working the floor. They have helped
many people make beer bongs before and will know what items work best
and where they are. This will save time and you’ll have a better beer
bong.
Warnings
- Be careful in how you use this as it easily encourages drinking
more than you may have intended which can quickly become dangerous or
even fatal. - On most college campuses, where beer bongs are most popular,
use or possession of such a device can carry a very large fine if not
other stiff consequences
